The company was set up in 1902. The first thermostat on the basis of its own patent was manufactured in 1938 and was meant for installment on Mercedes automobiles. Sales volume in 2003 was ˆ180 million. 1900 people are engaged in production in 3 factories. Development of new products is carried out in close cooperation with automakers.
