NTN-SNR Roulements

NTN-SNR Roulements is one of the leading manufacturers of bearings for different industries and No.1 Supplier of European automotive industry. More than 2/3 of its products, NTN-SNR Roulements produces mainly for auto spare parts aftermarket. 

First bearing was produced in 1880 by the establisher of the company Jacques Schmidt. The first plant was opened in Annecy (France) in 1916.
First, SNR products supplied to the market under the trademark SRO, and starting from 1947 - under the trademark under the trademark SNR (Société Nouvelle de Roulements).

During its existence, SNR achieved leading positions on the world market of hi-tech bearings as evidenced by the fact that SNR ROULEMENTS is the first manufacturer of bearings in the world which has obtained International certificate ISO 9001 (in 1990).

In april 2007 SRN Roulements united with NTN company and founded NTN-SNR ROULEMENTS.

NTN-SNR ROULEMENTS is the owner of more than 1000 patents and "know-how" in the sphere of new constructional materials and construction of bearings.

The main achievement of the company in the last years is development of technology of mechatronic bearing - Active Sensor Bearing (bearing with active sensor), became standard de facto for automotive components in short time.
