PHOENIX was set up in 1856 by brothers Albert and Louis Cohen from Paris. To begin with, 280 employees produced rubber shoes and rubberized boots. A year later the company had 500 employees and manufactured rubber balls, technical and surgical rubber.
Nowadays PHOENIX is a leading manufacturer of pneumatic springs in Europe. It supplies such OE manufacturers as MAN, MB, SAF, BPW. Since the beginning of 2007 the company is a member of the CONTITECH Group.
Acquisition of Phoenix by ContiTech AG Group led to joining efforts of two specialists in pneumatic springs. Advantage of Phoenix is a wide range of products and constant growth. Phoenix intends to go on with investing.
Phoenix pneumatic springs are tested for quality and ensure failure-free operation. They possess improved shock absorber features and effective control level. They have been tested and proved in everyday use on roads all over the world under the influence of changeable climatic conditions.
Except for application to commercial vehicles and buses, trailers and semitrailers, pneumatic springs Phoenix can be used in suspension systems for cabins and seats.
