From the moment of its foundation in the 1920s, MAHLE Company occupies a special place among well-known manufacturers of high quality spare parts for automobile industry and engine producers. Great attention is paid to research and development of high-tech future-oriented products. In testing laboratories products are introduced to serial production. The MAHLE Group Series includes MAHLE® GmbH, KNECHT Filter Group and MWP mahle – J.Wizemann – Pleuco GmbH.

Products of Mahle Company are pistons, piston rings, cylinder liners, cartridges and cylinder heads. In engines of Formula-1 automobiles only MAHLE piston groups are used.

Nowadays, MAHLE Group, which headquarter is situated in Germany, Stuttgart – Bad-Kannstatte, numbers  15 manufacturing enterprises for filter production, 9 of which are situated in Europe: Germany, Austria, France, Spain, Great Britain. Plants in Mexico, India, Brazil, South Korea and the USA are focused on supply of enterprises of these regions that belong to big auto concerns and local aftermarkets.

All production of the company is certified according to ISO 9001, QS 9000 and VD.A 6.1. Filters are manufactured on equipment, designed on the basis of its own development projects in research center MAHLE Filtersysteme. All products are subject to multistage quality control, based on implementation of SPC and FMEA systems.

Strict organization of MAHLE Filtersysteme group work is of primary importance for promotion of KNECHT products on the world market.
