It was founded in 1818 and got its present name in 1844. Being small enterprise at the beginning of its activity, in 150 years it turned into one of the biggest and highly-reputed companies in the market of auto parts with the total annual turnover of more than DM 160 mln.

Since 1994 Ferdinand Bilstein Company has been certified by the TUV certification and standardization authority in compliance with DIN EN ISO 9002. This certification comprises all essential structural branches and production processes, methods and technologies being used, responsibility spheres and supplementary means.

 

FEBI quality management system comprises all subdivisions - from purchases and production(production technology) to sales and shipping goods. Along with following DIN EN ISO 9002 norms internal company audit also plays an important role.
