The history of Cummins Turbo Technologies, previously known as Holset Turbochargers, begins in 1948. Genius of Louis Croset, who invented pin joints, together with entrepreneurial spirit of Paul Croset and funds of Mr. Holmes were prerequisites for founding of a small factory Holset in Huddersfield.
Having become a part of the largest concern Cummins (founded in 1919) in 1973 and having got a new name in 2006, Holset has its affiliates and production sites in six countries of the world: Brasil, China, India, Holland, Great Britain and the USA.
The company Cummins Turbo Technologies specializes in manufacturing of turbines for diesel engines which are characterized by wide range of forced air pressure.
