BEHR brand relates to engine cooling systems and air conditioning systems.
The company that produces BEHR was founded in 1905. It was one of the first companies in the world that started producing radiators for the cars. In 1921 the first time it took part in an automobile exhibition in Berlin and in 1930 it started supplying radiators to the German subdivision of Ford. More than 16 000 people work at 30 plants in 16 countries. The sales volume in 2002 made 2,8 billions EUR. In 2005 there was a merger of the two companies, BEHR and HELLA.
The brand BEHR is one of the biggest OEM suppliers. Today every forth car in Europe is fitted with BEHR parts. It supplies the goods to industrial spheres, to air and water transport, as well as for military purposes. BEHR has its own scientific and technical center with a climatic and aerodynamic tube; it’s a leader in the development of new heat exchanging engineering for the transport, including climate control systems.
