In 1972 production of different types of pneumatic shock absorbers under the trademark AIRTECH used in suspensions of different kinds of vehicles was started.

Now the company manufactures and supplies components of pneumatic systems to OE automobile factories and to the market of repair parts as well.

The prime factory of the company is situated in the town of Bursa, the center of automotive industry in Turkey. The company occupies leading positions in its manufacturing sector and controls about 92% of the market of Turkey.

The company exports 80% of its products outside of Turkey, mainly to the countries of European Union, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Ireland, Switzerland, Russia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Poland, Australia and countries of Far East.
Following worldwide standards, the trade mark Airtech in its activity keeps to the principle of “total quality”, which allows increasing its sales market by saturating of products, which meet customer requirements.

Pneumatic shock absorbers are successfully used in suspensions of different types of CV-vehicles, especially in suspensions of trailers container carriers. Different types of pneumatic shock absorbers are widely used in engineering design of front, rear and additional CV--vehicles axles and axles of semi-trailers as well. Among the main advantages of pneumatic shock absorbers it is possible to point out low stiffness of operation, which favorably influences longevity of vehicle and also possibility of regulation of road clearance for load-and-unload of vehicle.
Moreover, pneumatic shock absorbers are widely used in buses and this allows achieving constant high comfort level while movement and constant value of road clearance irrespective of vehicle’s loading.

Standard suspension of bus consists of 2 pneumatic shock absorbers on the front axle and 4 pneumatic shock absorbers on the rear axle.
All the buses produced in Europe and USA equipped with pneumatic shock absorbers. In engineering design of bus suspension produced in other countries pneumatic shock absorbers are used more and more often.
Pneumatic shock absorbers are produced and improved in accordance with specific requirements, such as lifting power, stiffness and elasticity characteristics.

For CV-vehicles pneumatic shock absorbers of 2 types are mainly produced: opened with rounded edges and closed with end surfaces.
