Goodyear Has Become One of the Most Honorable Companies in the United States
The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company joined the list of most honorable companies, according to Forbes magazine.
In the fifth annual ranking of the USA companies with the highest reputation Goodyear has taken the 40th position.
The ranking, published on the site www.forbes.com, is based on the results of polling the customers of Global Pulse, held by Reputation Institute and which estimates confidence, respect, admiration and positive attitude of the customers to 150 biggest companies in the USA. The total score is summed of the votes in 7categories, featuring different reputation compounds: «Products and services», «Innovations», «Management», «Working conditions», «Social responsibility», «Leadership» and «Efficiency». According to the results of surveys 2010, the most significant categories are « Products and services », « Management » and « Social responsibility ».
Goodyear got 74,24 scores, which is 0,79 over the result of 2009. Goodyear is a sole tire manufacturer, listed in the ranking. Besides, the company occupies the highest position among all automotive industry enterprises.
