Goodyear Introduces New Brand of Passenger Tires to Russian Market

Goodyear Company starts active sales of passenger tires of one of the biggest tire manufacturer in Central Europe – Sava. The new brand will enter the Russian market beginning 2010 and will complete the tire line of mid-price segment.

Till now major success of the Sava brand in Russia was associated with sales of truck tires. But this summer car enthusiasts of our country will see the true value of the Slovenian brand products for passenger cars. The Sava products are well-known all over the world for their quality, reliability and longevity and therefore they represent a good alternative to more expensive brands.

The flagship of the summer Sava line will be a high-speed tire Intensa HP. Its main distinguishing feature is a new design that combined with an optimized form of tread block and innovative rubber compound, based on silicone and polymer composition, ensures long service life, low rolling resistance and excellent characteristics on a wet road.

It is proved by independent tests made by an independent organization in the sphere of testing and certification of automotive components TÜV SÜD Automotive. Apart from the above mentioned Sava model three tire models of leading European producers and two tire models of leading Asian manufacturers underwent testing. The results showed that Intensa HP is far beyond the competitors in such parameters as emergency braking and driveability on a wet road. Besides owing to low rolling resistance reached through tire weight reduction and innovative tread compound the new tire shows considerable fuel saving and prolonged service life.

Apart from Intensa HP standard tires Sava Perfecta, high-speed Sava Intensa UHP, Sava Intensa SUV as well as a number of light-truck tire models will come into the market in summer.
